Matt trained at Trinity College of Music where he completed his MMus, and the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama, receiving a First Class Honours degree.
Matt has studied with Martin France, Clark Tracey, Dave Hassell, Gene Calderazzo and Dave Wickins. Before going to the RWCMD Matt recorded the album ‘Strange Constitution’ for the rock band, ‘Bastion 4’, under the Marsh Co record label.
He now freelances in London, and has experience playing in all genres of music. Recent peformances have included Glastonbury Music Festival. Matt is available to teach all ages, abilities and styles.
